A friend took me to a place called the Upper Room over nine
years ago, where I met Peter and Rebekah Laue. Peter started
sandblasting signs over twenty five years ago. I saw a tile hanging
on his wall and I fell in love with the words on that tile. "Christ in
me the hope of Glory" I brought the tile home and placed it on
my mantle over my fire place, where it has been ever since.
A few months later, I took my husband Michael up to the Upper
Room for a retreat. Peter and Michael hit it off, and Peter
showed us how to make the signs.
We first started making signs for donations to raise support to go
to Africa on a mission trip, and we haven't stop making them
since.
The signs reminds us that God's Word is alive and active. And
when it is hanging up for all to see it becomes a tool, for the Lord
to use to cut to the heart of people, to ministry His Love, Hope,
Freedom and Salvation.
Prophetic Expression is a new to our site, started painting in the
end of last year, I fell in love with it.
The freedom to express myself on canvas, where words can not
describe the feelings and emotions to worship the Lord.
The Lord gave me a vision of our friend Geoff jumping in the air
like a lion with a sword in his hand and stabbing the enemy in the
neck. I wanted to draw it, Geoff even said, if you could draw that,
that would be awesome. The Lord used those words over and over
in my mind to pull out my sketch pad and pencils. It's been over
11 years since I have drawn. It wasn't as good as it looked in my
mind. I asked Geoff if he would pose for me, so I could have a
picture, to get the detail of his figure. In the midst of trying to
figure out my photo editor to change the photo into black and
white.
The Lord began to show me, for our struggle is not against flesh
and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against
the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of
evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
